New Team Member Spotlight: Lance Wright
We had a new team member start last week and we are very excited to welcome him to the team! Lance Wright is a Radio Frequency Engineer with a strong background in telecommunications and he will be helping us in our mission work serving the Navy.
Lance is a fascinating guy and we learned a number of things about him in bringing him onboard to the eSimplicity team. Here are some of the highlights:
What do you like to do when you are not at work?
I really enjoy baking, singing with the National Christian Choir, playing bocce and visiting local breweries and wineries. I also love spending time with friends and family, playing with my niece and nephew, and going to local concerts, movies and shows.
What was your first job and/or the most interesting job you’ve ever had?
My first job was mowing lawns in my neighborhood. The most interesting job I’ve had though was serving as an Electronic Warfare Technician on an aircraft carrier (I served on three).
What’s a fun fact or something most people don’t know about you?
I’m left-handed but right eye dominant.
What are some of the things on your bucket list?
I would love to bobsled or do a skeleton run at Utah’s Olympic Park. Seeing the northern lights in Norway, travelling north across the arctic circle and seeing the midnight sun are also high on the list. Winning Grand Champion in baked goods at either the County or State Fair is also an item I’d love to achieve.
Where is the coolest place you have traveled? What did you do there?
The coolest place was San Francisco in August, it gets quite cold when the sun goes down. I went sightseeing mostly, drove around to see the sights, crossed the Golden Gate bridge.
