Alisha Guffey joins eSimplicity as Director of Product Management. In this role Ms. Guffey will be serving the Department of Homeland Security and continue to strengthen eSimplicity Product Development Center of Excellence for our Digital Services offering. Prior to joining eSimplicity Alisha served as a Senior Product Manager at the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Alisha brings over 15 years of interagency strategic planning and management experience of effectively driving policy, technology, and business objectives forward with senior government officials, foreign governments, multilateral organizations and the private sector. She has a passion for building products that work for the country’s safety and security. She loves cutting through complexity and simplifying the nexus of technology, communications, public relations, business development and policy. Alisha has won awards for her outstanding leadership and service. She graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications and holds a Masters of International Business from Tufts University where she also spent a semester with cross registration at Harvard. We caught up with Alisha recently and asked her about her new role, she said “”It is bittersweet to leave direct government service, but I’m excited to be on the other side of the Coin working with some of the top engineers and software developers bringing products to market that that keep our country safe and support our dedicated public servants. I hope to bring my operational experience to our team and really enable product development in line with the users’ needs.”
